Pork on the Fork

Little known fact: more people get their pork-related information from The Porkchop Express than any other site with “Porkchop” and “Express” in the name...

So we're launching a new section. Of reviews. Of stuff. (Food and otherwise.) That we like.

A little pork for that fork.

SOUTH BROOKLYN PERNIL SHOWDOWN

is there even one 'Spanish' joint north of Atlantic anymore? (i think so but need to double-check.) in any case, for our purposes, let's say South Brooklyn is Atlantic Ave south and from 3rd Ave west to the river. that's not a HUGE # of joints but is enough

1) to compare
2) to reclaim from racist yuppie and ersatz "hipster" class ig'nance the Latino co-primacy (since the late 19th c.) of South BK.

for this study, if you wanna include anything south of Fulton as South BK, that's aiiight too. likewise, if you wanna bring in the 4th Ave too.
